Lions stories
Well I'm using the new Lion OS, Safari is super quick, I like that. The 2 finger scroll is nice BUT the wheel rolls the wrong way, well maybe the Apple way, it's actually the way it probably should be but it's not the way I've been doing this for years, not quite sure I want to dive in the settings and change it yet, maybe I should change my PC's wheel.
One thing that is missing which I think means my MacBookPro is getting old is the 3 finger pull down, this seems not to work, I think this odd since I can do a 2 finger page scroll.
Time to start saving for the a new Mac :/

Siemens Biograph mMR receives the Frost & Sullivan Award
This is a milestone in medical imaging...
"Siemens Healthcare's innovative Biograph® mMR is the first scanner capable of simultaneously acquiring whole-body positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data."
Siemens inovation is out front...again...this time way out front of everyone.
(I'm a little biased but seriously this is amazing)

Upgrading to Apple's Lion OS
Apple's Lion software upgrade is here. Here's my experience.
1. It worked
2.There where some issues
3.Issues went away.
It Worked!
Upgrading to Lion from the App store could not have been easier, just click and purchase, it downloaded asked me to close programs and offered to do it so, it did. Just leave the mac alone for awhile then it comes back with new Lion version.
Flicker Issue?
When I first started using Lion the screen would flicker randomly, this was a little disconcerting, googling the issue online seemed to come up with little resolution. There was a mention of the system CPU being overloaded, my MacBook Pro is 3 years old, 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo so maybe it was doing something with the new OS. Checking the Activity Monitor basically Spotlight was re-indexing everything, I think was the "mdworker" process
Flicker went away
After a few hours and some reboots the flicker went away, I'm going to assume the CPU is not busy getting used to it's new OS or some Apple update magically fixed it.
Overall I'm happy with Lion
